Keswick School’s Student Council have quizzed Trudy during a visit to the school.
Trudy met with the Super Student Council, a team of around 14 students who have been elected from amongst their peers to lead on a variety of issues including the environment.
Trudy has welcomed the progress of the Conservative Government’s Kickstart Scheme - which has got 80 young people across Copeland into work since its launch in September 2020.
Trudy is inviting everyone in Copeland to get involved in UK Parliament Week and join a UK-wide conversation about our democracy, people power and making change happen.
Trudy has enjoyed a Q&A session with pupils from St Bees School.
Trudy was the school’s guest for a special assembly, during which she shared the story of her journey into politics before answering some wide-ranging and probing questions from the pupils.
