MP receives assurances over timetable changes

Trudy has received assurances from rail chiefs that more services are planned as part of train timetable changes being introduced on Sunday.

Ahead of Northern’s May timetable changes, Mrs Harrison met with Rail Minister Andrew Jones and Northern Rail Regional Director Chris Jackson.

Trudy meets with tourism delegation

Trudy has met with a delegation of Indian travel company representatives in a bid to help boost tourism in the area.

Held at Muncaster Castle on Bank Holiday Monday, the delegation was part of a Visit Britain project to help attract more visitors to the borough.
