Trudy has been quizzed by pupils from a Whitehaven infant school.
Trudy visited St James' Infant and Nursery School, where she held an assembly from Year 1 and 2 pupils to tell them about her role as a Member of Parliament and an Environment Minister.
Trudy has enjoyed a tour of the “outstanding” new Whitehaven Academy building.
Pupils moved into the state-of-the-art new premises during the spring term, complete with 21 classrooms, seven science labs, two art studios and three design and technology rooms.
Trudy has enjoyed a question-and-answer session with Keswick primary school pupils.
Trudy was invited to St Herbert’s School, where she told pupils about her role and responsibilities as a Member of Parliament for Copeland and gave an insight into working and voting in Westminster.
